NC Global Scholar International Film Series

Attending this virtual International Film Series may count as one of your passport events for the Scholars of Global Distinction Program. To see the selections of films for this semester, please select the appropriate tab. Three film selections will be made available each semester based on a global theme. In order to count as a Passport event the participant must:

  • Watch one of the approved film selections for the appropriate semester.
  • Post a 2 paragraph response to the International Film Series blog on what you learned about global issues, international events, and/or world cultures from watching your selected film.
  • Post at least one 3-5 sentence response to another viewer's comment.  Please keep comments  professional and avoid personal attacks.
  • You may only count one film per semester as a Passport Event.
  • If no one else has posted, then you may watch two films and post a second response to earn credit.
