Starting a Business

Small Business Center (SBC) clients may access the online resources by visiting a Rowan-Cabarrus Library location near you or by contacting the Director of the Small Business Center. The Remote login for the SBC will be changed every semester.

Located at the North Carolina Research Center (NCRC) Library in Kannapolis, the Small Business Resources Collection is a great place to stop by and pick up a book or other resource from our lending library. You’ll find titles on entrepreneurship, management and leadership, sales and marketing, HR, customer service, business start-up, and more.

Small Business Center (SBC) clients are eligible to access these resources by becoming a Community Borrower of the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Library.  The $5.00 membership fee is waived for referred clients of the Small Business Center (SBC).  The Library also provides access to electronic resources for Small Business Center clients.  Clients should speak with the Small Business Center (SBC) Director or the Library Business Liaison to learn how to access electronic resources.
