We have recently made some changes to our database access. You will now be using your own username and password to access these databases. If you are an RCCC student and you are asked for a password, it will look like this:

For facutly and staff use the first initial of your first name followed by your last name (ex. jsmith) as your username. Your password is your personal RCCC password.

LRC Orientation for Faculty

Welcome to RCCC's Learning Resource Center orientation research guide!

This will be your quick and handy guide to the services and resources offered by the Learning Resource Centers and their respective Information Commons areas.

Important Links

  • ILL Forms
    If you can't find what you need on our site, fill out this form as completely as possible so we can try to find it for you from another library. As always, the service is free!
  • Material Request
    Use this form when there is an item (book, journal, database) that you would like the library to consider for purchase. Preference is given to material that directly supports the curriculum.
  • Library Instruction
    Use this form to request a librarian to teach a session for one of your classes. Classes can be focused on a specific skill (i.e. boolean searching, information literacy), a specific class, or a specific assignment. Once you have submitted the form, a librarian should contact you to discuss your needs further.
  • Computer Lab Reservation
    Use this form to request time in the computer lab for your class to work on class assignments. Instructor is expected to come with the class and remain the entire session.
  • Assignment Alert Form
    Please use this form to alert our Reference Librarians to assignments that require use of RCCC LRC resources and services. With advanced notice, we will be better prepared to help students successfully complete their assignments.

  • Reserve Form
    Please use this form to have books, articles and/or AV material placed on reserve in the LRC location of your choice. Both library material as well as faculty-owned material may be placed on reserve.
  • Digital Campus Title Request Form
    Use this form to request a film for use in your class. Digital Campus (Swank) provides legal access to feature films for educational purposes.
  • Swank Digital Campus Title Request
    Use the form below to request a film for your course. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days to process requests and make them available in the portal. If you have questions, please email

    This form is for CURRENT films in our portal. If you want to request a film not currently in our portal, use the Title Request Form.
