How Does it Work?

The Diverse Reads Fall Reading Challenge begins October 4 and runs through December 8. The drawing for prizes will take place on December 10 at noon and winners will be notified by email.

Start reading! For your convenience, the Library has put together a list of eBooks available in our Dogwood Digital Library (OverDrive) for each category, and the Library has a variety of books in print you can borrow to read in addition to the lists of eBooks provided here. Or, read your own diverse books, as well!

For every book you read, you get one entry for in the drawing for a prize. So, the more you read, the more chances you have to win a prize! Read a book from every category and get an additional 10 entries in the drawing. Every time you complete a book, fill in the title on the Diverse Reads Fall Reading Challenge Scorecard. Email your completed scorecard to no later than December 8 to be included in the drawing. Some books will count for more than one category on your scorecard, but you will only get one entry for the drawing.

What Can I Win?

Prizes include: Grand Prize is a $50 gift card to your choice of several local restaurants. Other prizes include Amazon gift cards, mugs, candy, and more!
