Archive Services: Teach

Examples of Collaborations

Class visit

We would love to have your class visit us in the Archives!

Staff can provide instruction on primary source research and other topics tailored to your class.

The archive cannot comfortably seat more than four people at this time. Classes may come through the space for tours, but will work in the main library when using archival materials. The same access guidelines still apply; Students may not use pens or have food or drink while working with archival material.

With adequate notice, archive staff is happy to digitize material for use in virtual classes or provide duplicates for use in the classroom.

Contact us to discuss how we might be able to work together!

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is the nation's record keeper. Those records are available to you, whether you want to see if they contain clues about your family’s history, need to prove a veteran’s military service, or are researching a historical topic that interests you. Researchers can explore military history, political history, photographs, microfilm, teaching tools, and other materials related to the history of the United States.
